Silver Studios is a comprehensive Edmonton-based music business run by Caleb and Misha Marie Nelson that offers private lessons, recording and producing, arranging and songwriting, DJing and live sound services, and represents artists for hire for private or corporate functions. We are not just multi-genre musicians, but also educators, connected community members, and builders that believe in the wealth of opportunties that the greater Edmonton area has for artists of all abilities.
Caleb and Misha feel passionately about helping others find their creative outlets, and feel confident in their abilities - musical or otherwise. Caleb Nelson
As a self-employed musician, private teacher and recording engineer, Caleb has a strong ability to understand and adapt to any clients’ needs. Whether teaching a student, leading workshops, singing in any number of local/provincial choirs, or recording those same choirs, students and other ensembles, Caleb's primary goal is always to elevate those around him to achieve and sound their best. Caleb's ability to see the musical process from multiple disciplinary angles guides him to help others as they take on their challenges, musical or otherwise.
Misha Marie Nelson
As a former public educator in music, Misha Marie has a strong communication and administration skills to ensure that any project is handled professionally and with ease. As a guest clinician for concert and jazz bands, a session lecturer to post-secondary students, a private theory teacher, or side-player on saxophone and vocals, Misha Marie brings the same level of dedication to each musical task.
